More than 30 representatives from Singaporean businesses visited and exchanged with students at Tue Duc School and the Polytechnic Institute (BKE). This is the education system of the BKE-GNH Ecosystem (including the Polytechnic Training Institute and the Kind Living Community).
Mr. Tran Viet Quan, who has 20 years of research experience in human generals, human resources, administration, Buddhism, and oriental philosophy, founded the BKE-GNH ecosystem. The three-root philosophies are: "Moral - Intelligence - Will" serve as the foundation and key principles of the BKE-GNH ecosystem. The Polytechnic Institute official shared information on the Vietnam Intellectual Journey Project with representatives of Singaporean business. With registered members in 59 provinces and cities, the project is currently broadly implemented. The project's programs were exclusively designed and produced by BKE with the goal of promoting reading culture in Vietnam.
Singaporean business representatives made a point of expressing their satisfaction with the outcomes of BKE's initiatives to encourage reading culture and free education. Mr. Koh Sze Huan, CEO of Intel Consulting Singapore and Koh Management, expressed his gratitude for BKE's activities for free English instruction and stated a willingness to collaborate with them to set up English teaching facilities for primary schools in Vietnam.
The Singaporean business group visited Tue Duc School to learn more about the school's talent development programs. The educational initiatives of the school are planned to support students in developing morality in a caring, stress-free environment.
Mr. Huang Chun Hsien, managing director of Talentnet Advisory Services, was pleased with the educational concept being used at Tue Duc School. According to him, Singapore and Vietnam had a lot in common, including a shared value for education.
"In our group, there are businesses involved in the sphere of education, such as linking students to study abroad, providing English teaching programs for primary students, and providing an international inter-school system. I believe there will be greater opportunity for both parties to work together after this conversation", stated Mr. Huang Chun Hsien.
The delegation from Singapore and the representatives of Xanh Tue Duc School engaged in a private conversation after seeing the campus. Ms. Li Wei, Principal of Furen International School (FIS) had practical sharing on the topic of education, as well as thanked the representatives of the school.
FIS was founded in 2000 and has a system of training programs ranging from junior high school to pre-university. Due to their outstanding academic achievements, numerous students from the school have been accepted to famous universities including Cambridge University, Oxford University, National University of Singapore, etc. Rector Li Wei's visit lays additional bricks in the foundation for opportunities for intergration, exchange, and sharing of excellent education between Vietnam and Singapore.
The president of Tue Duc School trade union, Ms. Mai Thi Huong, commended the program's planners for bringing the parties together for a beneficial exchange event. She claims that Singapore is a leader in education and that the exchange event creates a foundation for future opportunities for cooperation between the two sides.
The Singaporean business delegation's visit took place while Vietnam and Singapore promoted their mutual collaboration in a variety of sectors. On October 17th, at the Presidential Palace, the Direcatorate of Vocational Education and Training (under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam) and the Institute of Technical Education of Singapore (ITE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in vocational education under the witness of Singapore President Halimah Yacob and Socialist Republic of Vietnam President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
