In recent years, SMEs have faced challenges from the "growth limit" and the market’s new requirements, including adaptability, diversification trends, and innovative ideas to seize opportunities.
The market visit and business connection program is an effective complementary activity for Vietnamese-Singaporean businesses. The event is co-organized by PTI Education and Training and Intel Media & International Consulting (Singapore).
Attended by Dr. Ang Ser Keng, Academic Director of SMU’s Enterprise Leadership for Transformation (ELT) Program; journalist Nguyen Hoang Phuong, President of IMCE Global, Chief Advisor of PTI Education and Training; and representatives of businesses, agencies, and organizations from Vietnam and Singapore.
In addition to promoting businesses from the two countries to explore business opportunities in the region, the program also creates leverage to help businesses explore potential partnerships.
The representative of the Organizing Committee, expert Nguyen Hoang Phuong, delivered the opening message: "We are living in an era of life-sustaining technology. Integrated enterprises need to solve many problems: labor qualifications, integration skills, foreign languages, technology, and working processes. These fundamentals must all come from a change in mindset. Work is a better place to learn than life."
Expert Nguyen Hoang Phuong also said that Vietnamese people have a special affection for Singapore. Many Vietnamese students choose to study abroad in Singapore. The business combination between enterprises of the two countries should be further strengthened and expanded.
Within the program's framework, the businesses visited the Coca-Cola Vietnam factory and attended a PTI Education and Training workshop. The delegations and the organizer also shared a networking and connecting program in the evening
Mr. Daniel Pham, Vice President of Intel Media & Consulting, is the coordinator of the program. At the seminar, expert Daniel Pham shared with the business delegations of the two countries many topics of interest such as performance management in the new context, how to access capital and suitable financial products, re-invent structure of production and business activities in accordance with the objective environment and actual conditions of the enterprise.
Speeches, exchanges, discussions on lessons, experiences, and business perspectives from the participants have become a bridge linking the common vision between businesses of the two countries. The program's content was positively evaluated by members, bringing many useful values, with high practical application.
On behalf of the organizer, expert Nguyen Hoang Phuong also thanked Dr. Ang Ser Keng and SMU, as well as representatives of businesses in both countries, for participating and making the program a success.
